Through the Eyes of a Bridesmaid

TotheHill.ESchwartz.ESI shared wedding photos from our fabulous photographer Tyler a while back, but one of my bridesmaids just happens to take gorgeous photos as well (see previous tea posts). Even with a bouquet in her hands, Emily was able to capture some lovely shots.

Dad_Wedding_Setup.ESchwartz.ESDan_HVWB_ESchwartz.ESWhat a breathtaking setting. Michigan, I love you.

DressBeading.ESchwartz.ESDressDetail2.ESchwartz.ESDress.ESchwartz.ES I loved my dress. I know all brides love their dress but…yeah…I loved my dress. Emily was very stealthy when she grabbed the camera from her trusty assistant (AKA: boyfriend); I just never knew when she was taking photos. It was fun to get a few more candids!

MeandWestonESCan you tell how thrilled I was to have our wonderful friend Weston officiate? He and his wife flew all the way out from Seattle to be a part of our ceremony and celebration. All the love, you guys.

ThroughtheLantern.ESchwartz.ESThe above is one of my favorites; do you see us there in the lamp on the left? Magic!

TableESEmily knows that I love the little detail shots. My dad cut the bottoms off of the wine bottles that served as candle holders and table numbers. I have a ton of old books, and they added a little height and interest to the tables.

SunsetDeck.ESchwartz.ESDance.ESchwartz.ESKateBarnESJenGBarn.ESchwartz.ESIt was a spectacular night with all of the beautiful people!

  1. Jennifer – first, I found you via your recent comment and what can I say. Your wedding. You are an absolute vision. Your dress is giving me heart-eye emoji’s, it’s so stunning. The aesthetic of your wedding is that of a dream! I adore the details – the colours in your bouquet, the books, the wine bottle candle holders, the reclaimed barn, and of course your bridesmaids mad photography skills. What a handsome couple you make!

Congratulations, even if it was a couple of years ago 😉

    1. Alex,

How kind! Thank you so much for stopping by. This blogging thing is new to me and blogs like yours are an inspiration as your aesthetic and focus are so clear: something for which I shall strive!

Oh, and the wedding was just this past September 2014, so I certainly still consider myself a newlywed. 😉
